3,4'-DAPE (3,4'-diaminodiphenylether), Cas No. 2657-87-6

3,4'-DAPE (an abbreviation for 3,4'-diaminodiphenylether, also known as 3,4'-ODA) is a chemical entity serving as an intermediate for chemical synthesis of para-aramid fibers.

Teijin has been producing 3,4'-DAPE since the first half of the 1990s, and is currently the only supplier of the compound manufactured on a commercial basis (as of 2013).

Teijin will increase its production capacity for 3,4'-DAPE to meet new demands for emerging applications.

Applications for 3,4'-DAPE
